Frankenweenie Graphics

I was very lucky to get the chance to work on Tim Burton's wonderful film Frankenweenie.
It was a dream job for me as I got to research lots of lovely mid-century graphic design, and spend over a year illustrating and creating graphics for the film. This meant designing anything from book covers to burger wrappers! As the film was in black and white it was a fun challenge working in a limited tonal range.

Hungry Moth

There are some very hungry moths munching their way through all my good knitwear at the moment. I may be very cold this winter, unless they all leave soon!

Rabbit and Bear Camping

I've been getting very excited about my holiday to Canada, and imagining what camping will be like there. So this is the scene in my head; a bear toasting marshmallows and a rabbit playing the due south theme tune on the piano.

The Art of Frankenweenie Exhibition

Although Frankenweenie is not out until October you can see some of my graphics in this clip about the touring exhibition. If you look closely, you can particularly see some of the posters in the classroom. This was my favourite set to work on as it involved lots of crayons, card and glue - if only I got to do that everyday!

Ski Poster

I went to see Tim Burton's new film Dark Shadows last night and I was very excited to see that my Ski Poster made it onto screen for at least 3 seconds! Watch out for the train sequence!
